• Dr Lim Cheok Peng

  Executive Vice Chairman, Parkway Holdings Limited

  Dr Lim Cheok Peng is the Executive Vice Chairman, Managing Director, Group President and Chief Executive Officer of Parkway Holdings Limited and sits on the Executive Committee. He is a cardiologist by profession and has been steering Parkway Group's healthcare efforts since 1987.

  

• Dr Penny O'Hara

  International Health Specialist,London-UK

  Penny is currently working as an Expert Advisor to the global health practice of McKinsey & Company, including the use of information and technology in the health industry, service reconfiguration and business assessment. Penny has had a career of over 25 years in Health and Management Consulting and has led and participated in some of the largest change initiatives in the health industry globally. Penny has worked as a clinician, management consultant, Board Member, Director and CEO and has significant experience in public and private health provider and payer organisations.

  

• Dr Suresh Nair

  Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist

  Dr Nair is currently the Medical Director of Parkway Fertility Centre and is the President of the Obstetrical & Gynecological Society of Singapore and Secretary of the Singapore College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr Nair trained in the USA, Germany, France and UK in endoscopic surgery and is a renowned endoscopic surgeon. He has trained numerous gynecologists in Singapore and abroad and is regularly invited as a guest faculty to lecture and demonstrate his techniques. Dr Nair’s other subspecialty is in reproductive medicine.

  

• Dr Mahmoud Sarhan

  CEO, & Director General King Hussein Cancer Centre – Jordan

  Dr Sarhan is a Full Professor in Pediatric Hematology – Oncology and in Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT). He is a renowned expert and researcher in the field of Stem Cell and BMT and has been the leader of successful BMT units in several hospitals in both the Arab world and the US. He earned his M.D. from the University of Jordan in 1980 and carries triple American Boards in Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology Oncology, and BMT. He used to be professor of Pediatrics in the Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation division of Duke University. Dr Sarhan is the author of over 90 peer-reviewed articles as well as numerous presentations in worldwide conferences and workshops.

  

• Tim Burbury

  Construction & Major Projects Specialist King & Spalding, Abu Dhabi

  Tim has advised master developers, government owned entities, utilities, infrastructure funds, lenders and EPC contractors on their involvement in projects in social infrastructure (healthcare, education and tourism) throughout the Middle East, Asia and Australia. He has particular expertise in structuring, documenting and negotiating complex "facility" projects and agreements.

  

• Ziad Fares

  Healthcare Projects Development Specialist

  Ziad specializes in healthcare projects development in the GCC and MENA regions. He has over seven years of experience in this field. Ziad honed his skills in this area through his recent work as Manager of Business Development at Mubadala Development. He brokered a number of strategic partnerships with top-tier healthcare institutions with the aim of developing and operating ‘benchmark’ healthcare facilities in the UAE and the region. The portfolio of projects under Ziad’s management at Mubadala exceeded AED 1 billion, and included a major clinical diagnostics laboratory, a large-scale diagnostic imaging and elective medicine center, a centralized medical simulation and health safety institution, and a multi-specialty hospital and outpatient clinics.
